Why We Exist
Time after time, the identity of individuals, businesses, and organizations are lost when it comes to writing and communication.
Ink splatters onto the page and words begin to flow like water through a broken faucet, uncontrolled and untamed. The writer tries to maintain the rhythm of the pen, but it's too powerful. And the result is often a mediocre document, worthless for its original purpose.
The vision of Precocious Pen is simple. Writing should be a masterpiece, handcrafted to fit the vision of its creator. It should explore the depths of his or her knowledge, occupy the rhythm of the heart, and reflect a story only that person can tell.
Precocious Pen was birthed to transform how people create in both academic and business sectors by tailoring services to fit the individual needs of each client.
Joylita Anderson
Founder, President
Precocious Pen was founded by Joylita Anderson in the summer of 2013. Joylita Anderson holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a literature concentration, and a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Secondary English.
While working in education as an English teacher and in various editorial positions, Joylita recognized the need to redefine how individuals create during the writing process.
She noticed that when many are tasked with writing, they line the pages with an outpour of words, but the connection between the passion and dreams of the writer and the words on the page was missing.
Recognizing the need for personalized assistance that helps on a deeper level, Joylita began the journey of developing the "skilled writer"—Precocious Pen.
